I finally got round to doing some card making. Its been so busy in the build up to Christmas, at home and work, that I havent had time for crafting. So here it is! The image was from Fairydoodlers and the backing was a free download. The flower and centre were from my Secret Santa on MSE.

Winter Wonderland Card

This is my card for the MSE challenge. This was a freebie image ( I cant remember where from) and as soon as I saw it, I knew it would be perfect for this challenge. There is glitter on the snowy bits, but this doesnt really show in the picture.

Advent Calendars

These are the advent calendars I have made for my children. The pockets are mounted onto mountboard, covered with sticky back plastic.I printed the patterns for the pockets onto thick card and then added a stamped number. Inside each pocket has a paper insert to hold something in. In each pocket I have put some chocolate coins. I am quite please with the way they came out and hope they will last for a few years to come.

My Daughters First Christmas Card

This is my daughters first christmas card (she's 13).

Father Christmas Card

I had these aperture cards and decided I would try Iris Folding. I was suprised how easy it was. I even made the pattern up myself! The nose is a berry from a Christmas Cracker wrapping from last year and the papers are just scrap bits left over from other projects.

This is my NEC stash. I brought some lovely Martha Stewart punches that I have wanted for ages. I also brought stickles, glitter, cards, backing card, dst, memento ink in different colours and a lovely butterfly diecut. My daughter had the diecut out of the package before I could take the picture, so it had already been used!

Choccys Challenge

I have done this card for a friends wedding in a few weeks time. This image was sent to me by CT on MSE, so thank you very much. I was also sent a Tilda one by Kms. I coloured them both and let my OH pick which one he prefered. I think I will add Just Married to the back of the car, but other than that I am very happy with it.

Flower Birthday Card

I did this card for one of the ladies on MSE, I hope she liked it. I made it using nesties for the ovals and die cuts for the flowers. The Happy Birthday is a stamp. This was the first time I had use promarkers to colour the main flowers, they were originally white.

Jigsaw Pieces

I have loads of these jigsaw pieces and wasnt sure how to use them. So I thought I would try to see what in looked like in a box type layout. The backing paper was a free wallpaper sample. Its a bit hard to see from the picture, but the jigsaw shapes are cream and pink and they are from a pack that I brought at a car boot sale for 50p.

Birthday Card

I made this card for a friends birthday. At first it was going to be a nine square card that I have seen others do. But the bits I found to go on top were mostly rectangle, so I went with that. Nine wouldn't fit on, so I had to have a bit of a re-organise. I was really pleased with how it came out.

First Christmas Card

I thought I better try and get started making some christmas cards. The backing paper and christmas trees are all the free gifts that I got with papercraft inspiration magazine. I have also used a nestie to cut the oval shape and the Happy Christmas is a stick on I had in my stash.

I decided to try something different. I plan to put a few chocolates in the box for a teacher present.
I had a template for a box, which I cut out and used my new eazi board to score the bends. I have never made a box before, so was quite please with the result.

Here is the finished Me to You cross stitch that I showed you earlier. I finished in time for DD birthday tomorrow!

This is my first easel card.
I printed off a musical backing paper. The saxophone is a die cut.

It was really hard to do as there were so many nice ribbons and I wanted to use them all!

I have used die cut hearts and the wedding dress is also a die cut. I have tried to keep it fairly simple and not too fussy.

Did another card yesterday for a friends birthday. I used the bigshot sizzix dies for the tag and the scrolly twirl.
I am also uploading 2 pictures of models that my DD (Age 12) and myself have spent many painstaking hours putting together, not forgetting all the card, printer ink, glue and selotape! They were presents for her friends birthdays.
